An Ode to a Bicycle Pannier by Caroline Burrows

After her magical event at the shop last month, Caroline Burrows has kindly agreed to become our resident poet! We’ll be regularly sharing Caroline’s work and here’s the first poem for you to enjoy.

It’s true that a bike pannier’s

Destined for a full existence.

But who’s guess how many wonders,

With good clearance!

Mine’s a hero called Super C,

It’s been on stage; in a poem.

Seen Argentina, Brittany,

Even Morecombe.

My bag, over a decade old,

From constant use has grown tired,

So, a new one from the same mould,

I’ve acquired.
