Poor by Katriona O’Sullivan
This moving, harrowing, funny and ultimately incredibly inspirational memoir of poverty, teenage pregnancy and homelessness is a powerful warning not to write off the dispossessed and disadvantaged.
“Now an award-winning lecturer whose work challenges barriers to education, Poor stands as a stirring argument for the importance of looking out for our kids' futures. Of giving them hope, practical support and meaningful opportunities.”
Please don’t use the death star - buy it from Waterstones or your local independent book shop.
