Built in Britain by our master craftsmen from the highest quality trusted Reynolds steel and 3D printed Stainless Steel frame parts, the Pathfinder-E is lightweight, nimble and comfortable, so you can effortlessly explore with the added benefit of a powerful, quiet, reliable and subtly-integrated electric-assisted drive to aid pedalling and help you go further and climb hills with ease.
Fully equipped weighing only 17.8kg and powered by the discreet Mahle X30 rear drive motor with seamlessly integrated internal battery. Enjoy a smooth, effortless ride through town or country, with all the style, grace and comfort for which Pashley is renowned.
Available in a diamond (view HERE) or low step frame, combining a carefully considered selection of Reynolds 725, 631 and 525 butted steel tubes and 3D printed frame parts, there is more to the hand-brazed and lightweight frame than first meets the eye. The powerful 250Wh rechargeable battery is discretely positioned within the down tube, giving a sleek and seamless silhouette, whilst the optional range extender can be fitted to the bottle cage mount to provide an additional 70% range.
The powerful Mahle X30 rear hub motor is quiet and reliable, delivering smooth power throughout the pedal stroke, and with variable assistance you can tailor the power output via the IWOC head unit integrated into the top tube of the frame.
Ensuring you are ready for any adventure, the Pathfinder E is fitted with full length, colour-matched double wall alloy mudguards and premium twilight-activated front and rear lighting, keeping you protected if the weather turns or the evening draws in.

A hand-crafted Reynolds steel frame is matched to a quiet and powerful electrical assist rear hub motor, producing a bicycle that has power assistance when you need it, weighs only 17.8kgs and is nimble and comfortable for all-day riding across varied terrain and elevation.
Hand Crafted in Britain
The Pathfinder-E has been designed and is individually crafted by hand at our factory in Stratford-upon-Avon. From the brazing of the trusted Reynolds steel frame to the careful assembly of Mahle X30 electric drive system, the Shimano gears and hydraulic brakes, for a quality that can only come from a bicycle beautifully hand-crafted in Britain.
Frame
The frame combines traditional hand-brazing methods with 3D printed steel lugs and integrated battery and controller.
Battery
The Mahle 250Wh rechargeable battery is integrated into the frame to produce a sleek silhouette.
Motor
The Mahle X30 drive system is robust and versatile, producing 45Nm of torque from a motor weighing just 1.9kgs for a total fully-equipped bike weight of only 17.8kgs
3D Printed Lugs
To produce shapes and strength previously impossible, we use 3D printed elements to create the components that add strength and style to the frame.
Fork
The full carbon fork is manufactured with a tapered steerer tube which adds stiffness and confidence to your steering input whilst the blades of the fork have mounting points to accept our own design of Porteur rack.
Integrated Drive Controller
Formed into the top-tube of the frame is the Mahle IWOC ONE head unit, giving you ultimate control over your assistance level whilst riding as well as displaying your current battery level.
Brakes
Offering great modulation and control, Hydraulic disc brakes give excellent excellent braking confidence in city traffic and long technical descents.
Gears
Allowing you to tackle a wide range of gradients, the front 39T Alfine chainset is combined with an 11-43T cassette to give a simple to use and broad spread of gears.
Lights
Unique to the Pathfinder E is the setup of front and rear LED lights. Both are powered by the e-bike battery and are activated by low light for worry-free twilight rides.
Mudguards
Extruded aluminium mudguards are profiled to follow the smooth lines of the Pathfinder. Mudguards are colour matched to the frameset.
Saddle
The B17 has been an iconic part of the Brooks saddle range for over 100 years. Renowned for its performance for all disciplines of cycling. The leather allows the saddle to breathe and form to your shape over time becoming uniquely comfortable. With handy rear luggage loops.
Propstand
A sturdy kick-down propstand allows you to stand your bicycle upright with ease.
Grips
Hand-stitched by English craftsmen, these grips are made from fine aniline bridle leather that is durable yet supple and finished with highly-polished stainless steel end caps.
Tyres
Producing grip on and off road, the high volume Panaracer Gravel King tyres are smooth and comfortable on a variety of surfaces. Matched to tubeless ready rims, the tyres can easily be converted to run without innertubes. The tyres are built with a retro-inspired tan sidewall.
Frame Size
S frame size = 27.5 - 31.5" inside leg M frame size = 30 - 34" inside leg L frame size = 32 - 36" inside leg
To select the correct frame size for you, first measure your inside leg length (from the sole of your foot to the inner top of your thigh) in inches.
